Aji Cachucha Purple Splotched Pepper is an heirloom variety from Puerto Rico.
Plants grow to around 3 to 4 feet in height and produce an abundance of sweet, mild fruits that are 2 to 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch in height. Their thick skin, which makes them an excellent choice for stuffing, starts out green with distinctive purple splotches before maturing to orange and red.
