Clitoria ternatea.
Blue Butterfly Pea is a perennial herbaceous plant in the bean family originally native to the Indonesian island of Ternate.
Fast growing vines can reach over 12 feet in length and produce striking blue flowers that, aside from attracting pollinators, can be used to make colorful herbal teas and brilliant natural food dyes.
The seeds pods, which resemble a bean, are also edible and can be eaten straight off the vine or tossed into your favorite stir-fry.
Grows as a perennial in warmer regions or as an annual in cooler regions.
