90 days. Open-pollinated.

Cowhorn is an open-pollinated pepper variety originally from New Mexico and named for their resemblance to a cow's horn.

Productive plants produce good yields of large, green to bright red peppers that grow to about 8 inches long by 1 inch wide.

A Scoville rating of 5,000 puts the Cowhorn in a similar heat range to jalapenos, and they are used for making hot sauces, red pepper flakes, and chili powders.
