Diva is an award-wining cucumber that is easy to grow with great disease resistance. The crisp, sweet fruit is smooth and spineless, glossy bright green, slender and cylindrical with slightly tapered ends. Produces only female flowers, which means it does not require pollination and every flower that forms will produce a cucumber. Fruit will remain seedless unless pollinated by another cucumber.

Start cucumbers indoors about 2 weeks before the last spring frost, sowing the seeds 1/2 inch deep in small, individual peat pots. Use a heat mat to keep the soil temperature above 70°F and a humidity dome to ensure the soil stays moist between watering. Germination should occur within 7 to 14 days.
When the danger of frost has passed and the cucumber seedlings have developed their second set of true leaves, plant the seedlings 36 to 60 inches apart (or 12 inches apart if you're using a trellis) in a location with full sun and rich soil. Water frequently and consider applying mulch or straw around the base of the plant to retain moisture in the soil.
