Cucumis melo. 100 days. Open-pollinated.

Golden Beauty is an heirloom casaba melon variety originally developed in the 1920s.

Fruits grow to around 6 inches in diameter and weight about six pounds each.

Tough rinds mature to a golden yellow. Flesh is white and deliciously sweet.

Once harvested, melons can be stored for a number of months, making them a great treat to break out for a little taste of summer during the early winter cold!
