Cassia fistula.

Golden Shower Tree, also known as Indian Laburnum, Pudding-Pipe Tree, or Purging Cassia, is a fast-growing, flowering tree native to India, Malaysia, and southeast Asia.

Plant grows to around 30 to 40 feet tall and produces a stunning bloom of yellow flowers from early spring to early summer (with a second flowering in early fall) that attracts a host of bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators.

Many parts of the tree are used in traditional medicine, including the ripe pods and seeds, which are used as a laxative; the bark, which is used as an anti-inflammatory; and the leaves, which have anti-fungal properties.
