Cucurbita pepo. 95 days. Open-pollinated.
Jack Be Little is an open-pollinated, miniature pumpkin small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Most often used for Thanksgiving and Halloween decorations, but its tender flesh makes it a great choice for use in soups, pies, or even baked whole with a little butter, brown sugar, or maple syrup.
Vigorous, compact vines produce an average of 6 to 8 bright orange, smooth skinned fruits that grow to about 2 to 3 inches in diameter with a weight of 3 to 4 ounces each.
Once harvested, the fruit is long lasting and can keep for up to 12 months.
