70 days. Open-pollinated.
Lemon Cucumber is an open-pollinated, heirloom cucumber variety first sold in the United States by the Samuel Wilson Company in the late 19th century.
Wilson's 1894 seed catalogue said that Lemon Cucumber '… are considered a great dainty by those who are fond of that popular vegetable. They have all the desired qualities of a good cucumber, slightly flavored with lemon, which gives them a decided advantage over the common kind.'
Long, vigorous vines produce excellent yields of round, spineless fruits that resemble a lemon in shape, size, and color.
Flesh is mild, sweet, and never bitter, making this a perfect cucumber of slicing.

Start cucumbers indoors about 2 weeks before the last spring frost, sowing the seeds 1/2 inch deep in small, individual peat pots. Use a heat mat to keep the soil temperature above 70°F and a humidity dome to ensure the soil stays moist between watering. Germination should occur within 7 to 14 days.
When the danger of frost has passed and the cucumber seedlings have developed their second set of true leaves, plant the seedlings 36 to 60 inches apart (or 12 inches apart if you're using a trellis) in a location with full sun and rich soil. Water frequently and consider applying mulch or straw around the base of the plant to retain moisture in the soil.
