Helianthus annuus. 90 days.

Lemon Queen is a native, annual sunflower variety that can be found growing in most regions of the United States.

Plant grows to between 5 and 7 feet in height and produces large lemon-yellow flowers with dark, chocolate-colored centers that bloom from summer to the first frost of autumn.

Bees are intensely attracted to this variety, making Lemon Queen the star of the Great Sunflower Project, a study to gather information on honey bee and native bee populations.
