Leonotis nepetaefolia.
Lion's Ear, also known as Klip Dagga, is an annual flower originally native to Africa and southern India.
Plant grows to between 8 and 12 feet in height and produces stunning clusters of tubular, furry, bright orange flowers that bloom from late summer through early fall and are said to resemble a lion's ear.
Hummingbird's are very attracted to the nectar-filled blooms and will often engage in turf wars over the plant!
Nearly every part of the plant is used in traditional herbal medicine, though the flowers in particular are said to produce a calming, mildly euphoric effect.
