Solanum melongena. 70 days. Open-pollinated.
Poamoho is an open-pollinated eggplant variety originally developed by the University of Hawaii for resistance to bacterial wilt.
Tall, vigorous plants, which grow to around 12 inches in length, produce high yields of long, slender fruits with shiny black skin and bright white flesh. Flavor is mild and sweet, and the tender skin does need to be peeled before use in your favorite eggplant dishes.
