Sakurajima is an open-pollinated, heirloom radish variety native to southern Japan where it's been grown since the early 1800s.


Plant produces white, round fruits that are sweet and mild and can grow to an astounding 100 pounds! That said, they're best harvested when the roots reach around 10 inches in diameter.
