Artemisia absinthium. 65 days.

Wormwood is a perennial herb best known for its use in the legendary spirit absinthe, though it is also found in a number of other spirits and wines including bitters, bäsk (a Swedish-style liquor), and vermouth.

The name 'wormwood' is derived from its historical use as an antiparasitic, and it has long been used medicinally for pain management, reduction of swelling, and as a digestive aid due to its bitter agents (absinthin and anabsinthin).

Liquor and medicine aside, the foilage of the wormwood plant is silvery-gray and aromatic, making it a beautiful and fragrant addition to any home garden!

Keep the soil lightly moist, and take care not to disturb the seeds when watering. Germination should occur in 14 to 21 days.

Transplant to a partially sunny location in your garden once the danger of frost has passed.
